Erenna™ Immunoassay System

Singulex has developed the Erenna Immunoassay System, which leads the next generation of molecular diagnostic technologies capable of quantifying biomarkers at the sub-picogram level. The Erenna technology utilizes paramagnetic microparticles (MPs) as the solid phase for capture and detection of analyte from a complex biological sample, providing enhanced specificity, sensitivity and precision by 1-3 logs over existing plate-based methods.



The Erenna Immunoassay System incorporates well-established technologies. The system integrates capillary flow, laser-induced fluorescence, a highly sensitive detection optics module, and a 384-well plate format for sample analysis.



After performing a modified fluorescence-based plate immunoassay, the plate is placed into the Erenna System where ultra-sensitive fluorescence is measured in the presence of proprietary background reduction methodology.



The Erenna Immunoassay System incorporates a robust digital molecule-counting module to count photons. A large dynamic range of 4+ logs is obtained by combining single-molecule counting (low range) with photon counting (mid range) and total light measurements (high range).



The Erenna Immunoassay System includes a fully equipped bench-top analytical instrument, a set of integrated and prepared reagents in micro-titer plate format, and data management software to automatically display detailed assay reports in a user-friendly format. This reliable, easy-to-use, walk-away system produces results from biological specimens like serum or plasma in as little as one hour.
