The Singulex Clinical Laboratory currently offers more than 60 blood tests that primarily focus on the assessment of chronic conditions such as cardiovascular health, inflammation, diabetes, abnormal cholesterol, or hormone imbalances, as well as cancer monitoring.

Singulex offers five blood tests that apply its proprietary technology to measure cardiovascular health and inflammation. These five tests are ONLY offered through the Singulex Clinical Laboratory.

Singulex uses a proprietary Single Molecule Counting technology that identifies minute quantities of biomarker molecules in the blood before clinical symptoms are apparent. This technology is up to 100 times more sensitive than traditional testing platforms, enabling unprecedented insight into medical conditions. 1,2

Singulex technology provides what other tests cannot: The sensitivity to distinguish people who have disease from those who do not, before symptoms are apparent, leading to earlier identification of disease and improved monitoring of therapies.
  • Cardiac Troponin I (SMCTM* cTnI ): Measures small amounts of cardiac troponin I, a protein found specifically in heart muscles that is released into the bloodstream when heart muscle is injured or stressed.
  • Endothelin (SMCTM* Endothelin): Measures the tightening of blood vessels, which can raise blood pressure. A high level may predict how far along blood vessel disease has progressed and may be related to chronic heart failure, kidney disease, sleep apnea or diabetes.
  • Interleukin-6 (SMCTM* IL-6), Interleukin-17A (SMCTM* IL-17A), and Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (SMCTM* TNF-α): Measure inflammatory proteins in the blood stream. Inflammation may cause plaque build-up in the arteries. If left untreated, this build-up can increase the risk of having a heart attack or stroke.
