- Cardiac Troponin I (SMCTM* cTnI ): Measures small amounts of cardiac troponin I, a protein found specifically in heart muscles that is released into the bloodstream when heart muscle is injured or stressed.
- Endothelin (SMCTM* Endothelin): Measures the tightening of blood vessels, which can raise blood pressure. A high level may predict how far along blood vessel disease has progressed and may be related to chronic heart failure, kidney disease, sleep apnea or diabetes.
- Interleukin-6 (SMCTM* IL-6), Interleukin-17A (SMCTM* IL-17A), and Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (SMCTM* TNF-α): Measure inflammatory proteins in the blood stream. Inflammation may cause plaque build-up in the arteries. If left untreated, this build-up can increase the risk of having a heart attack or stroke.
